Seikan Tunnel

       Seikan Tunnel is railway tunnel which famous in Japan. Seikan Tunnel was built in 1964 and just be operated on March 13, 1988. There are two stations in Seikan Tunnel, Tappi Kaitei and Yoshioka Kaitei. This tunnel connect between Amori region and Hokkaido Island. The total length is 53.85 km, Seikan Tunnel become the longest tunnel in the world. The track along 23,3 km there is under beneath of the sea, exactly in Tsubaru Strait. The part of depth is location in 140 metres from surface of the sea and 100 metres under beneath of the sea. It’s so amazing!
